Given is the chart providing information about the duration of three various telephone calls over the span of 7 years from 1995 to 2002 in UK.
According to the chart, it can be clearly seen that local fixed line had much higher telephone calls throughout the given period, starting from 72 billion minutes it reached the peak value of 90 billion minutes in 1999 which dropped continually until the end and had the same minutes with the starting year of 1995 (72 billion minutes).
The next two categories, national and international – fixed line and mobile calls had similar way of increase until 1999; the former started with 36 billion minutes and reached 50 billion minutes in 1999, whereas mobile calls accounted for only 3 billion minutes in 1995 which rose slightly until 1999 when it had 13 billion minutes. After that, fixed line kept the same way of improvement and reached 61 billion minutes at the end. However, mobile calls rocketed strikingly since 1999 and constituted for 44 billion minutes in 2002.
Overall, people of UK tended to use national and international fixed line and mobile calls rather than local fixed line calls as the years went by.
