The 4 pie charts compare the division of labor in three different fields in Town A and Town B in the year 1960 and 2010.
From the statistic, there was an enormous progress in the number of worker employed in the manufacturing. On the other hand, sales is the most popular field that it maintained the top position in town B’ labor market.
Looking at town A, we can see that sales-related jobs attracted the largest number of employees , at nearly a half of the laborforce in 1960, meanwhile , the figures for manufacturing and services were a bit lower , at 30% and 29% respectively.
Turning to town B, the majority of employees chose sales-related jobs in spite of a decline from 70% in 1960 to 53 % in 2020. Whereas a small climb of 15% and 2% was witnessed in the proportion of worker in manufacturing and services.
