The line graph below shows the average daily maximum temperatures for Auckland and Christchurch, two cities in New Zealand, and London and Edinburgh, two cities in the United Kingdom.
The line graph illustrates the average daily maximum temperature of four major cities in different countries including New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Units are measured in degree Celsius.
Overall, it is clear that both countries' average temperatures were directly proportional to each other. In New Zealand, the maximum temperature has been seen in the first and last months of the year in contrast to the UK which was in the middle of the year.
At the beginning of the graph, the average daily maximum temperature of Auckland and Christchurch was between 20 to 25 degree Celsius. While over the following months, the graph has a slight downward trend and fell to 10 and 15 degrees Celcius in July and August. However, the temperature shows a sharp increase for the consecutive months and reached the beginning range at the end of the period.
Conversely, in the UK cities, the maximum temperature in the starting months was a mere 5 degrees Celcius which surge dramatically to the near months and surpass the temperature of New Zealand cities in May and June with 22degree celsius in London and around 17-degree celsius in Edinburgh. While in the coming months, the temperature has declined and dipped to 5 degrees celsius in December.
