The bar chart illustrates five different industries' percentage share of Brazil's economy in 2009 and 2019 with a forecast for 2029.
The bar graph demonstrates the composition of five industrial sectors in the economy of Brazil over a 30-year period from 2009 to estimation in 2029.
In general, finance is forecast to be the most successful business in Brazil throughout the timeline. An interesting point is that apart from the finance firms, the share of the other 4 sectors will not have improved by 2029.
Looking at the details, in 2009, finance ranked first with about 30% involvement in the Brazilian economy. The figure went up over 35% in 2019 after which it is set to peak at over 40% in 2029. On the other hand, manufacturing went the opposite trend. It underwent a moderate fall from around 20% to 15%. Projections show that the data will decrease by 3 times to just 5% in 2029. This paralleled the downfall of tourism, going down by approximately 5% in the first decade after which it will stay constant.
In contrast, there will be no change in the 2 remaining industries. There were rises in the stakes of food processing and oil, coal, and gas production by around 10% and 5% respectively. However, it is highly predicted that in 2029, the share of the aforementioned businesses will remain the same as the initial value in 2009.
