The table given compares 5 distinct nations in terms of how much teachers in secondary/ juniorhighschool earned in 2009
It is evident from the table that Luxembourg was the country paying the highest salary. Additionally, Japanese teachers were able to reach top salary after having worked for at least 37 years.
Regarding Luxembourg, when beginning to work, teachers were paid 80,000, which outnumbered the figure for Denmark by approximately two to one, at 45,000. At the same time, the number of salary offered when teachers had worked for 15 years stood at 119,000 and 54,000 in Luxembourg and Denmark in turn. Meanwhile, to earn the maximum salary, at 132,000, teachers in Luxembourg were required to have taught for 30 years, compared to only 8 years needed to achieve 54,000 in Denmark.
In terms of other categories, the starting salary of Japan and Korea stood at 34,000 and 30,000 respectively, whereas the figure for Australia was dwarfed by that of Japan, at 28,000. Likewise, after having taught for 15 years, lecturers in Japan earned 65,000, compared to 48,000 paid for Korean counterparts. Similarly, the salary paid for those having worked for 15 years in Australia was 48,000, which was also the maximum renumeration that local teachers could reach after having taught for 9 years. By contrast, Japanese and Korea teachers needed to have worked for at least 37 and 34 years to reach the maximum salary, at 86,000 and 62,000 in that orde
