The diagrams give information about the proportion of households possessing several types of electrical devices and the weekly hours spent on doing chores of each household in a nation from 1920 to 2019. Overall, people tended to own more devices and the time which was taken to do housework showed an obvious decrease.
Regarding the first charts, the area of refrigerator witnessed a significant rise, from just around 0% in 1920 to just under 100% in 1980 and remained stable until 2019. Similarly, that of vacuum cleaner also increased from roughly 30% to approximately 100% in 2000 and leveled off since then. Washing machine also saw a development in figures, however, it was marginal when this sector dropped from the first place in 1920 to the last one in 2019, amounted to roughly 75% in number.
Looking at the second chart, households needed to use 50 hours for chores on a weekly basis, however, the data had a downward trend in the following years and reached nearly 10 hours in 2019.
