The pie charts show information about energy production in a country in two separate years.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two given pie charts compare the percentages of different types of energy produced in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it is readily apparent that while the 2 main sources of energy which are gas and coal were on an upward trajectory, the opposite trend can be seen in petro. “other” and nuclear also increased moderately.
In 1995, gas production hovered at about 29% and was almost equal with that of petrol and coal, constituting 29.63%, 29.27% and 29.8% respectively. The remaining categories were noticeably lower than those mentioned above with only 4.9% for “other” and 6.4% for nuclear.
In the remaining data in 2005, the generation for gas and coal rose marginally to 30.31% of the former one and 30.93% of the latter one. Despite growing to some degree, nuclear (10.1%) and “other” (9.1%) productions were still almost two fold lower than that of petroleum (19.55%)
