Generally, large companies invest most money in online communication and online promotion, while small businesses spend little.
There was a slight rise in the number of small business enterprises having their products performed on the social network from 2012 to 2014. Despite a substantial fall in 2015, this figure rocketed up to nearly 50% in 2016
Between 2012 and 2013, the percentage of medium-sized businesses that used online networks to gain profit increased. This figure remained nearly stable in 2014 before dropping down to 30% in 2015 and then increasing to over 50% in 2016.
It can be seen that big companies got the highest percentage. Beginning with nearly 80 % in 2012, this proportion was stable in 2013 and 2014 before having a remarkable drop to 53% in 2015 . This proportion sharply rose to nearly 80% in 2016 .
