The bar chart shows the percentage of small, medium, large companies which used social media for business purposes between 2012 to 2016

The bar chart indicates the proportion of small, medium and large businesses taking advantage of social platforms for business income over 4 years.

Generally, large companies invest most money in online communication and online promotion, while small businesses spend little.

There was a slight rise in the number of small business enterprises having their products performed on the social network from 2012 to 2014. Despite a substantial fall in 2015, this figure rocketed up to nearly 50% in 2016

Between 2012 and 2013, the percentage of medium-sized businesses that used online networks to gain profit increased. This figure remained nearly stable in 2014 before dropping down to 30% in 2015 and then increasing to over 50% in 2016.

It can be seen that big companies got the highest percentage. Beginning with nearly 80 % in 2012, this proportion was stable in 2013 and 2014 before having a remarkable drop to 53% in 2015 . This proportion sharply rose to nearly 80% in 2016 .
