Dear Jenice,
How are you doing? I'm very glad to receive your letter inquiring about my progress in English.
Last month when you were here, I achieved an overall score of 6. However, I recently had my English proficiency tested again and my score has increased by an additional mark.
In order to achieve my disired band score, I have dedicated 8 hours of study every day, allocating equal time to each skill. I found some highly recommended online preparation resources such as e2language, ipd.com, and several YouTube channels. There has been instrumental in helping me identify my weaknesses, and providing suggestion for improvement. By following their instructions and engaging in self-direct learning, I have been able to make significant progress.
One area that has proven to be quite challenging for me is writing. It is difficult to compose any essay within a given time limit without any reference sources. This requires consistent practice, which is why I prioritized this skill and dedicated an entire week towards focusing solely on writing before the actual test.
