The diagrams compare the layout of an industrial area of a town called Norbiton in the present and a proposed development plan in the future.
It is clear that there are various changes in the design of the industrial area to transform into housing areas that are shown on the diagram. By developing infrastructure in the center area, leading to the establishment of related stores.
Looking at the Norbition industrial area now, there is a river in the north and a main road in the south. In the future, there will be a bridge across the river to connect the center area to housing in the farmland. The current main road will be redesigned and have a roundabout to the traffic more convenient.
The biggest changes are in the town’s center, where all the factories will be replaced to build housing areas. We can see that all housing areas are located along roads and there are a lot of stores that support residents, such as schools, playgrounds in the East, shops and medical centers in the middle of the town.
