Firstly, the number of UK citizens who travelled abroad started in 1979 about 13 million, however, the number saw a significant increase to around 52 million by 1999. On the other side, 10 million people had been to UK and the number increased gradually, reaching about 27 million, increasing approximately about 25 million in 1999.
Regarding the bar chart, in 1999, the two popular countries were France and Spain attracting about 10 million visitors. Conversely, Turkey, Greece, and USA, were the least explored countries to the UK inhabitants, with approximately 2 million visitors.
