Fewer young people do farming work in rural areas Why Should young people be encouraged to do farming work

Essay topics:

Fewer young people do farming work in rural areas. Why? Should young people be encouraged to do farming work?

In the industrialization era, fewer young people do farming work in rural areas. Instead, the young move to metropolis cities to live and find jobs. There are various reasons for this trend. However, in my view, young people should be encouraged to do farming work. This essay will discuss the reasons for this action.
Firstly, the main reason mentioned for this situation is the advantage of technology. The development of technology has replaced humans in almost all areas including agriculture. Robots and machines are invested to increase productivity and reduce laborers. Besides, high income and less workload in urban areas are factors that attract the young. Doing farming would be quietly hard for modern young people because of weather impact or physical health while the income might be not enough for their standard of living.
However, I would argue that more young people are needed to do farming nowadays. The first reason that I would mention is the characteristics of the young that are suitable for modern agriculture. Younger generations who are tech-savvy, tend to be more adaptable to new technologies and innovations. In modern agriculture, where technology plays a significant role in improving efficiency and sustainability, young farmers are more likely to effectively utilize these advancements. Moreover, young farmers often have access to better education about sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. They are more likely to understand the importance of environmentally friendly approaches and are willing to implement, that are not only beneficial for the long-term development of farming but also make life better for everyone.
All in all, technology and income are the factors causing this situation and young people should be fostered to join in producing food.
