Some universities offer online courses as an alternative to classes delivered on campus. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
In these days, there are some higher school offer an online education as an alternative to classes instead of go to school. From my perspective, it’s can help students learning quickly and more convenient. However, this offer can give some disadvantages about the financial and communication. This essay will examine both sides of the argument before conclusion is drawn.
In this contemporary life, there are many technology devices such as smartphones, computers or tablets and other apps for calling or texting. Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of university offer online course as an alternative classes. First, university support for online courses are believed to equalize study opportunities among young people regardless of their background family. This online course support, presumably, tends not only to increase the overall enrollment rate of lower-income people but also to mitigate their feeling of inferiority when they go to school and talking to other people, which promotes an egalitarian society. Second, higher school allowed online education would probably result in a higher supply of highly qualified workers, which benefits society in the long run. In fact, it is acknowledged that knowledgeable and human capital is imperative to foster economic growth and technological development in any nations.
Nevertheless, the resultant problems would be far more significant than the minor benefits once university offer online course as an alternative classes. First, all people learning on online course would likely correspond with a tremendous financial strain on a country. Generating no income from tuition and fees, university could become over-reliant on the state budget for funding, meaning that there would be less input to develop other important areas such as healthcare systems and transport infrastructure. In addition, university offer online courses can cause some communication problems and especially teaching online is one of the difficult ways to understood and not suitable for everyone. Second, university offer online course as an alternative courses tempt many young people including those who are not academically inclined or show no interest in learning, thereby adding great burden for school and staff applications and potentially wasting time that these young people could spent their time on suitable career paths. It, instead, would be a more courses option if the resources were focused on supporting privileged yet gifted students.
In conclusion, despite the long-term advantage of technology. They are not at all in these days and also teaching in school is the best way for everyone and also can contact and meet many different people, especially can build many perfect relationships. From my perspective, government and university should consider clearly to have a better education and life.
