The tow pie charts exhibit the share of different sectors to the Turkish economy in the years of 2000 and 2016.
Overall, at the beginning of the period, agriculture contributed to the largest segment to Turkey's economy, while construction was the least significant part of the economy. In comparison, the economy has the least share of finance, business and others in the starting time period, whereas the healthcare and education made the highest contribution to the wealth of Turkey.
In 2000, the construction's economic share was 3% and dramatically escalated to 10% in 2016. The manufacturing sector comprised of 8% of Turkey's economy and slightly increased by 4% in the last year of the given period. With 5% share to the Turkish economy finance, business and other sectors were the second-lowest figures in 2000 and risen to 8% over the course of time.
The agricultural economic out at the beginning and the ending of the given period was 24% and 14% respectively. In the starting period, leisure and hospitality and government were responsible for 17% and 12% respectively, and both dwindled by 3% after the 16-year period. However, by contrast, the economic contribution of healthcare and education remains constant at 17% in both years.
