You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he / she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
1. say why he / she would not enjoy going to college
2. explain why getting a job is a good idea for him / her
3. suggest types of jobs that would be suitable for him / her
Dear Tejal,
I’m writing about the letter that you sent me few days back regarding my advice on whether you should continue your college or look out for an opportunity to work. In my opinion, It would be great if you start working rather than attending the college.
By joining college, you may again fall into the trap of books and restrict your talent of dancing to grow further. In college you will again go through the subjects which disinterests you and the money will be wasted. It’s time you think of another option that can lead to a profession you are interested in.
I’ve known you and the dancing skills you possess since childhood and therefore would suggest you to start working in a dancing school so that you get an exposure to various new styles and a chance to polish your skills. Learn while you earn. You may apply as an assistant instructor or get associated with a film production house as a choreographer which will give you the platform to showcase your talent.
This is what I feel . You should analyze the options and select one.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Best wishes ,
X.Y.Z
