How have you been since the last time we spoke on phone two days ago? I am writing to share this exciting news with you. I won the photography competition that was done at my office to mark the World Environment Day. Although it was a highly competitive contest across the company and I felt I stood no chance to win, I was extremely elated when I got an email that my photograph was selected as the best of the lot.
Here is how I won the competition. While scouting for great places to take a photographs related to conserving the environment, I took a trip to the Lekki Conservation Park. After I'd spent about three hours taking random pictures, I suddenly spotted a squirrel on a large leaf lying by the edge of a pond. Immediately, I took a picture with my camera. Surprisingly, the photograph came out so beautifully especially because it portrayed a relationship among animals, plants and water.
I have been informed that an exhibition will hold on 30th September, 2019 where the three best pictures will be showcased. Consequently, I am inviting you to the exhibition which will also include the presentation of the first price to me, having won the photography competition.
