The two pie charts illustrate the change of different sourses of revenues generated online by Major Category in the years 1995 and
At first glance it was clear that householders spent high proportion of their income on Housing and Food, while Transportation and Education were received the lowest expenditures in both years.
As can be seen from the grap, it is evident that Food accounted for 11% of household expenditures in 1950 and experienced a more than threefold increased in 2010. At the beginning of the period, Transportation and Other made up 3% and 4% of the revenues generated online, respectively, and these figures dramatically fell to 14% and 19% in the years later.
Housing, which comprised over seven- tenths proportion of the chart in 1950, decreased substantially to almost one fifth after 60 years. In constrast, the figures of both Heath care and Education remained constant in the range of 9%-11% during this period.
