The provided tabels illustrate the comparative sales data for Fairtrade coffee and bananas of 5 countries in Europe from 1999 to 2004.
A glance at the grasphs reveals that there was an increase in the statistic of both coffee and bananas in these 5 states. With regards to the highest position of UK in coffee and Switzerland in bananas while the lowest figure belongs to Sweden and Denmark.
It could be clearly observed from the first table that the fair price of coffee in UK rose dramatically, from 1.5 and reached 20 million euros in the year of 2004. Switzerland moved upward exactly double, from 3 to 6. Meanwhile, there was a similar increase in Denmark and Sweden sales, 1.8-2 and 0.8-1 million euros respectively. Finally, fair price in Belgium had a tediously growth, from 1 to 1.7 million euros.
Turning to the other table, it was apparently seen that Switzerland standed out as much higher fair price in bananas than the 4 other countries. Its data jumped more than tripple in 2004, from 15 to 47 million euros during these 5 years. At that time, banana sales improved moderately from 1-5.5 million euros in UK and 0,6-4 million euros in Belgium. However, this figure in Sweden and Denmark showed the different pattern, falling in banana sales from 1.8-1 and 2-0.9 million euros.
