Overall, While both young and old people spend a similar percentage of time on researching, social networking and making purchase, there are differences in relation to making books and playing games.
people who are in 18-26 age group spend 18% their leisure time on playing games, whereas it just account for 5% in the time using internet of old people. making books such as cinema and travel also shows the similarity to playing games ( with 5% for young people and 25% for elders). In terms of accessing music and films, 60-70-year-olds who use 15% their free time for doing it, which is less than 6% of young people. making purchase is the only activities that show the exact percentage of using time for the internet by both young and old people( with 12%). young people spend 24% of time on social networking, as compared to the percentage of old people with 21%. The percentage of time using for researching purpose of young people is less than this of elders ( with 22% and 22% respectively).
