Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
-Explain the important
-Apologize for the situation
-Suggest a new arrangement
Dear john,
I hope this letter finds you in radiant health and to the best of spirits. I know you must be very excited about my visit to your place but unfortunately I have to postpone my plan due to some other important commitments.
this morning, I received a letter from my NRI brother Harry and he is coming to visit home at the same time we planned to meet. As we had not seen him from long time since his studies in USA, we all are very excited to meet him and spend some quality time together. Also we had to visit some of our relatives and take a tour to nearby attractions and temples, so I would be really busy during those days.
I really apologize for rescheduling my visit to your place because Harry had even booked the tickets and taken leaves from his office otherwise he could have changed his visit plan to India. he do not visit us very often so it is really special family get together event that I cannot afford to miss.
By the way, my business would be little slow in coming summers, I could make a visit to you at that time, if it is convenient to you. I will have even more time to spent with you and cover the attractions.
Once again I am sorry from the bottom of my heart for the inconvenience caused. Hope you understand my situation. Hope to see with you soon. warm regards Daniel
