The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different attractions in Brighton.
The line graph below summarizes the information about the percentage of tourists who visited four attractions in Brighton in 30 years time, from 1980 to 2010. Overall, it can be seen that the Pavillion is the one attraction among all which increased the most in the number of visitors over the years, as it started at just above 20% in 1980 and ended at 30% in 2010. During those years, the share of visitors rapidly increased to reach a peak of almost 50% in 1995, however, almost as fast, the share decreased to 35% in the next 5 years. The year 2010 saw a slow reduction in the percentage of tourists visiting the Pavillion, that went back to 30%.
On the contrary, the number of tourists visiting the Art Gallery over the years decreased steadily from 20% to just below 10% in 2010, with a high peak of 35% reached only in 1985. The festival's visitors remained always the same share, starting at around 30% and ending at 25%, but with a slight hollow in 1995.
Lastly, the Pier part of tourists followed a steady increase-decrease rate over the years, from 1880 to 1990, staying at around 10%. Then, the percentage remained above 10% until the years 2000, when it started to rise, reaching a peak of 20% of visitors in 2010.
