The diagram gives information about five steps in the process of electricity generation.
We can see that cold water is the only raw material in the production of electricity. The process consists of five distinct stages and the water is changed from liquid to gas with the equipment in the process.
At the first stage, cold water is pumped down into the injection well which is 4500 meters long. Then the water goes through the geothermal zone where it is heated by hot rocks. At the end of this zone, hot water reaches the production well. Hot water is then pumped up to the ground at the third stage.
After hot water gets to the condenser, steam will form automatically in a big container. Then steam flows into the turbine through a tube. With power provided by steam, the turbine is able to rotate to produce power which is transmitted to the generator. At last, the generator can generate electricity.
