The three pie graphs illustrate the trends of spending proportion in British school over thirty years.
it can be clearly seen that there was an increase in insurance. Overall, the percentage of each part changed softly.
As for teachers’ salaries, which were the highest spending over three pies, it got 40% in the year 1981 and raised to 45% slightly at 2001, while the highest proportion was 50% of total school spending in 1991. On the resources such as books, which were spent 15% at the beginning, rose by 5% to 20% lightly at 1991 and finally fell to 9% dramatically after a decade.
In 1981, the proportion of furniture and equipment was 15% as well as higher than 5% at 1991, and 23% was recorded at 2001. Other workers’ salaries could not be ignored at 1981, it was the second-high proportion at 28%, while there was a decrease after two decades by 13% to 15%. finally, insurance was the lowest over the three graphs, it was 2%, 3% and 8% separately in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
