Some students prefer classes with frequent discussions between the professor and the students with almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with many lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
It is critically important for students having decent backgrounds on both their academic field and social life. In my opinion, learning through a discussion about their learned things far better than just listening to lectures from their professor. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, Having a lot of debates and discussions will develop our great deal of skills such as communication, having a debate, exchange your ideas, listening to your partners which give you valuable abilities to become superior to your peers. I have to admit that my opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my experience. Two years ago, In my history class my professor conducted a dispute about our notion of the history, this occurrence made me realise that until that time I have never listened to my peers’ contemplation and deliver my voice to the public about this concept. It was completely made me a more open-minded person than before. Since that time I have enrolled in debate class and did many volunteer jobs to conduct a conversation among the ordinary public about their opinion of the government policy and taxes. As a result, I found out what I wanted to do in my rest of life so I decided to become a lector.
Secondly, It creates a great bond between the professor and students, thus it utterly affects academic excellence and gives you an opportunity to work in internship programs which are very helpful to find a job after graduation. Drawing from my brother’s experience, he didn’t the best student in his high school because he is so modest and reluctant to cooperate with his classmates. However, after he attended university he completely changed a lot due to the great amount of presentation and deliberations, as a result, he strengthened his relationship between his main subject’s professor and him. His professor gave him a lot of chances such as working on the projects, attend seminars and conferences. As far as I concerned, It greatly helped him after university and then he promoted quickly. Now he successfully works within a highly prestigious and well-paid company.
In light of the above-mentioned reasons, I strongly believe that attending a class which has a lot of conversations is better than later one. This is because it enables to become an independent person who has a lot of worthwhile abilities and because it fortifies the bond which will aid to gain a job between dexterous influential professor and students.
