The diagrams illustrate the process and usage of tool to manufacture cement and how it is then used for the production of concrete.
Overall, the steps consist of five main stages and some machines are involved in making cement. However, concrete is created using one machine only.
To be more specific, limestone and clay are crushed to form a powder before combing both materials in a mixer. Then, the mixed substances enter the rotating heater where they would expose to the heat. After coming out from the heater, it would be crushed into smaller pieces through grinder. Finally, the production of cement is completed after packaging in bags.
To make concrete, a small minority (15%) of processed cement is added in the concrete mixer, together with a quarter of sand and half of gravel using shovel. Not to mention, the water (10%) is poured as well. As the 4 ingredients are inside in correct proportion, the concrete mixer is then rotated to clockwise direction for the manufacture of concrete.
