Overall, there is upward trends in the amounts of Gas, Coal, Nuclear energy production except for Petro. In addition, Gas and Coal were the top produced energy in both periods respectively.
In 1995, the amount of Coal energy made occupied the highest percentage which was 29.80%. While 29.63% was the proportion of Gas energy production,
the figure for Nuclear was significantly lower at 6.40%. At the same time, the rate of Petro energy production was 29.27%. By contrast, other energy was least produced with only 4.90%.
After 10 years, the amount of Coal energy production
which increased slightly by over 1% remained the leading produced. It was then followed by Gas with 30.31%. At the same time, France saw a dramatic decrease in the quantity of Petro energy produced to 19.55%. By contrast, 10.10% and 9.10% were the rates of Nuclear and other energy respectively.
