Overall, the spending patterns in US which had the highest value was cars. While the lowest had computers and books.
To begin, from 1966, the largest proportion of expenditures most money was spent on food with amount 44%. These followed by cars used 23% in one year. The smallest consumed was on furniture at 10%, petrol 9%, restaurants used 7%, books 6%, the last spending was 1%.
On the other hand, in 1996 the percentage of pattern there was increase and fell down. Food was the highest proportion in 1966 but it had fallen to 33% of the total. The second hugest was cars grow to 22% from 1966. While for the smallest category not change significantly such as furniture reduce to 2%, petrol was go down to 1%, restaurant go up to 7%, books decrease to 5%, and computers climbed to 9% for 10%.
