On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter
- Describe the item you lost
- explain how you lost it
- tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.
Dear sir or madam,
My name is Behnaz Yousefi. I used your travel insurance service in my trip to France last week. I am writing to you regarding an item I lost on that trip and ask for your help.
The lost object was a Rolex watch which I have been gifted on my wedding anniversary by my husband. It was made of gold with diamond decorations around the screen. It approximately costs 3000 dollars besides its emotional value.
Since I am very punctual, I always wear my watch wherever I go. It is one of my habits to check the time every now and then so I am certain that I lost it on the airport because the first time I realize it was missing was when we were on board and I check for the time.
My first priority is to find my own watch. Hence, I would like you to contact airport's lost and found section and inquiry about my watch. It would be great, if you can bring my own watch to me. Nevertheless, I know it is quit impossible to find it. Therefore, I would like you to pay enough money to compensate for my loss in case you fail to find the real object.
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Sincerely yours,
Behnaz Yousefi
