Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I have recently lost an item while traveling to Vietnam.
At the onset, the item that has been lost is my Sony HD Camera. It was a brand new camera, which I bought last year from New York and it costed me around $1000. It was packed in a brown leather bag for safety along with a keyring hanging on the side chain. It has 10 GB memory and all functions for latest photography.
While I was traveling to Ho Chi Minh city, I intended to lost it somewhere between the Macmillan hotel and the airport. As during the last day of my trip, my wife’ s mother got injured from a major accident. We had to board the flight in a hurry and thus forgot to check our accessories and belongings.
Although I have already reported the matter to the lost and found department, I have not received any positive response from officials. As I am entitled for complete refund against the lost item, I would like to claim for my insured camera. Please tell me the further procedure so that I can expedite the process of claim.
