The graphs above describe the percentage of computer ownership by population from 2002 to 2010 and by education level in the years 2002 and 2010.
Overall, the population with computer ownership showed an upward trend throughout the period. Similarly, computer ownership increased among all students of every education level at the end of the year 2010. Additionally, a direct correlation exists between the percentage of computer ownership and the level of education.
Initially, the population percentage of computer ownership was about 58% in the year 2002. Then it experienced a continuous steady growth until reaching the highest point of approximately 75%, by the end of 2010.
The students with no high school diploma were the least, is only about 15% computer owners, while the postgraduates had the highest computer ownership percentage with approximately 78% in the year 2002. By the end of 2010, every population at each education level experienced growth in computer ownership with the increments of approximately 20-30% with the postgraduate population rose to 95% and outraced every other population at other education levels with the least of 40% among no high school diploma students.
