You are part of a group of musicians who meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings to practise in the community hall.
You have been told, however, that it is no longer possible for the group to use the hall.
Write a letter to the manager. In the letter:
• describe what the group does
• explain why the group is good for the community
• suggest alternative days and times for practice
Dear sir/madam
I am smith, a singer and member of the band who gathers twice in a week at your community hall for practicing music, writing this letter to ask to allow us possible alternatives as the hall is not available so far.
Since we have a major purpose to serve the community by letting them the world of music which lead them to enjoyment and relaxation, we have trained in the group for last six months at your building. You probably do not know we practice varieties of songs by using different musical instruments. Even, we are capable of performing classical, cinematic and many international songs as a result of the marathon practice. Our purpose is to get familiar with all types of music and instruments and your community hall was a best place to practice well.
I am sure that, if we get proper room as your hall, we will be able to serve the society as I mentioned. So I hereby request you to allow the hall to us on some other days. I think on Monday and Saturday will be okay for you to grand us the permission. Actually we are planning to change the timing to late evening; between 8 pm to 12 am in the midnight.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Yours sincerely,
Smith
