You live in an area where the local council has made some changes to regulations. You believe these changes are not good for residents.
Write a letter to a councillor. In your letter:
• Introduce yourself.
• Describe the problem.
• Say what you think the council should do about the situation
Dear Sir/Madam,
Firstly let me introduce myself, my name is Rana Kandar and i moved to Carlanton street two months ago. I am writing this letter in regards of the rule that you took the last month in relation to Metro availability during Weekends and public holidays.
In fact, we are facing many transportation issues when working hours of Metro have changed. As you know people will not have enough time to hang out during the weekdays since they spend most of their time at work. Therefore they wait for the weekend to watch theatre or celebrate a special event. Due to the shortage in working hours and because taxi are very expensive at the city, most people are staying at home.
I would highly appreciate if you solve the issue as soon as possible since it is reflecting directly on our humor. I can suggest some possible solutions that might help like decreasing taxi expenses of extending the working hours of the metro especially during weekends.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Yours faithfully
Rana Kandar
