The provided three pie charts represent an overview of average percentages of Sodium, Saturated fats and Added Sugars consumed by Americans in the four different meals in the USA.
Overall, the highest percentages of sodium and saturated fats used in the dinner, while the greatest sugar added in the snacks. In addition the lowest amount of all three types of nutrients used in the breakfast.
As the charts show, the amount of sodium is relatively higher in dinner than other meals which is 43%. Surprisingly, sugar and saturated fats were used by 23% and 37% respectively. In contrast, The lowest percentages of all three nutrients consumed in breakfast and it was 14%, 16% and 16% in sodium, saturated fats and added sugar respectively.
Furthermore, 42% of sugar consumed in snack’s meal; Whereas, 14% of sodium and 21% of saturated fats used in snacks. Meanwhile, sodium, saturated fats and added sugar consumed by 29%, 26% and 19% respectively in the lunch.
