Given in the graph is data about the quantity of inquiries sent to the tourist information office in a particular city within six months from January to June in 2011.
As shown in the illustration, it is crystal clear that most of the citizens had a tendency to make enquiries to the office in person and by telephone. The graph depicts that the number of people choosing these two forms of information seeking continued to roar, while that of queries making by means of letter and email witnessed a decrease during the given period.
Having a closer look at the details, the number of people sending inquirues in person started at a rather low point, just a little over 400 times. The figure however rocketed sharply as time gone by and eventually reached its peak in June, recorded over 1800 enquiries. Telephone making to the information office was the most popular option among the three at the beginning, over 800 inquiries. Its number climbed gradually during the first half of the period, went up considerably in the later and reached exactly 1600 queries in June. Only letter and email sending for enquiries stated a downward trend. Its figure initiated at about 800 queries, moderately slipped back over the first two months, then plummeted and remained stable toward the end of the period.
