The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the
Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph gives information about the quantity of questions that the Tourist Information Office received from January to June in a city in 2021.

It is clear that making enquiries directly showed a dramatic increase, while the figure for sending letters or emails experiencing an opposite trend. It also can be seen that the number of face to face questions was highest over the period shown.

In January, about 900 enquiries were received by telephone, which is the greatest number, followed by nearly 800 questions via letter or mail. By contrast, making direct questions is the least common choice, with just over 400.

In the next six-month period, face to face enquiries rocketed to over 1800 and became the most popular among three ways. Similarly, the number of questions by phone call decreased slightly to 800 before rose steadily to 1600 in June. However, sending questions by letter/mail saw a constant decline to under 400 in May, and stayed unchanged over the last period.
