The graph demonstrates the money wasted on books in four certain countries like Germany, France, Italy and Austria in the period of 1995-2005. Overall, it can be clearly seen that the most money spent on books in Germany, whereas the amount of money which spent on books is less in Austria.

Although the money spent on books in Austria began from 30$ in 1995, it got rising till 40$ and saved it stability until 2001, then it continued to increase in 2005 and became around 72$.

Though the starting point in Italy in 1995 was 50$ more than Austria, during the years it fluctuated and after 1999 it gradually increasing till about 62$ in 2005 which was less than in Austria.

Comparing France and Germany, we can see that there was a noticeable difference between the starting points in these two countries, about 55$ and 80$ respectively in 1995. In 1999 these countries reach their peak, 90$ in Germany and 60$ in France. After that Germany’s trend was getting down, whilst the trend of France rising at a steady rate. The ending trends consist of approximately 95$ in Germany and 75$ in France.
