Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The purpose of this report is to provide information about how the forest area in each continent around the world had changed over 15 years, between 1990 and 2005.
Overall, the vast majority of the table showed fluctuations over the period, with a significant upward trend in Europe; however, Africa and South America's evergreen land experienced a moderate decrease.
As demonstrated in the figure, Europe, with the highest proportion of a greenwood land around the world, exhibited the most significant change. The forested land there increased considerably from 989 million hectares to 1001 million hectares by 2005. Nevertheless, South American, which accounted for the second-highest, decrease steadily from 946 to 882 million hectares of forested land over the same period. Similarly, Africa faced a slight decline from 749 million in 1990 to 691 million in 2005.
Focusing on the remaining continents, namely Asia, North American and Oceania, each country 's wild jungle site remained stable between 1990 and 2005 as shown in the given table. With regard to the table, a small fluctuation occurred in Asia; however, the rest did indicate any relatively similar experience.
