Write a letter to a company asking for a refund for something you bought from them online. In your letter include:
• What you bought
• What the problem is
• Why you want a refund.
Dear Sir,
I write to request for a refund on the washing machine I bought from your organization.
At about 2:17pm a fortnight ago, I purchased a washing machine from your office at Leeds Street. The order number and model of the washing machine were AJ7645T and XTY123 respectively. It weighs 65kg and silver in colour.
The following problems were discovered when I unpacked the machine at my country home. Firstly, the rotor was not rotating affecting the washing section. Also, the handle was not properly connected making it difficult to carry. Lastly, the cooling chamber did not function properly after I turned it on for one hour.
Your refund policy says customers are entitled to refund should any fault be discovered within one month of purchase. Thus, I request a cash refund with immediate effect in compliance with your policy. Also, as a premium customer, I expect a written apology alongside the cash refund notification.
As you will appreciate, this is an urgent matter and I look forward to your timely response.
Yours faithfully,
Azuka Umeononigwe
