The two maps below illustrate the design of University Sports Centre at the present and future time. Overall, it can be seen that the University Sports Centre will be expanded in the future. In addition, there will also be construction of new facilities.
Currently, the University Sports Centre has two Outdoor Courts which are located on the East and West sides of the main building. Inside the building, there is a 25m Pool which is situated in the centre of the building. It is surrounded by Changing Room, Gym, Seating facility, and Reception, which are located on the West, North, East, and South side of the building, respectively.
In the future, the main building will be expanded to the former area of two Outdoor Courts, which will cause them to be demolished. Therefore, new facilities will be constructed in the inside of the building, without removing old facilities. Firstly, on the West side of the building there will be establishment of Leisure Pool, Changing Room, and Sports Shop. Secondly, Sports hall, two Dance Studios, Cafe and another Changing Room will be built on the East side of the building. Furthermore, old facilities such as Gym and Reception will be enlarged, where Sports shop and Cafe will be located inside the Reception area.
