Dear Sir,
My name is Jenkins and I recently applied for Masters in Commercial Law course at your prestigious School of Excellence in Law college. I can't express my happiness in words when I received your interview letter and I truly felt honoured for considering my application. However, I am afraid that scheduled interview on 10th March 10.30 AM clashes with my earlier appointment with doctor and probably unable to attend interview.
I sincerely apologise for making this excuse, however, my current
position is unavoidable. Earlier this month, while I was going on my bike, I met with an accident causing fracture to my left arm. As a result, I was advised by doctor to take rest and re visit hospital for removing plaster encased to my hand. Therefore, I booked an appointment, unaware of your summons to interview. Understanding how important it is to meet you and finalise my admission, I request you to kindly reschedule my session some time later on same day or any other date.
Perhaps, assuming it is right moment to ask, if you don't mind please share other details of the interview like venue, duration and any tests that I should be aware of. Further, clarify if I need to bring any certificates and Id proof while coming to interview.
Once again, I am really sorry for making this unconventional request and hope you can understand my situation.
Yours Sincerely,
Jenkins
