You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course.
You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your teachers. In your letter
describe the situation
explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take
Dear ma'am,
I am Sakshi, one of your students from the evening course at City Creations. I am writing this letter to inform you that I will not be able to continue the course because I am facing issue in management of time. I'm taking this opportunity to let you know that I am currently working at XTS Ltd. and due to my strict working hours it is hard to possible for me to attend the seminar on time. Nevertheless, I somehow managed to reach at the centre but I am always an hour late because of which I sometimes miss the important chapters in the class as well.
Actually, before joining the course I was between jobs, hence I have decided to enrol myself in this personality development training programme. But after 15 days a call was received by me for a job interview and I was selected for an IT company. It is really pathetic for me to leave this course that is provided by our city council, but I also don't want to lose my dream job as well. As you know that this kind of skills are very essential for everyone; however because of not having a proper schedule I will not continue my course this month.
Therefore, I want to take your grant to take a sickie for a while, so that I will complete my training and will be back to attend the classes in the next session.
It would be highly appreciated by me if you give response as soon as possible. Thereafter, I will focus on my work and plan to join the next session definitely.
Yours sincerely,
Sakshi
