The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pie charts illustrate the portions of water used in industry, agriculture and domestic in a few areas.
To think of domestic aims, it can be seen that the amount of water used for this in Africa, as well as Central and Southeast Asia, is incredibly small. North America, South America, and the EU's is twice as much as those. Having said that, both the rates in these two groups are significantly tinier in comparison with other intentions'.
On the one hand, these illustrations show that a high percentage of water is used for industry in developed regions, while the EU scores the greatest amount of water in use, following by merely North America's which almost accounts for half of the entire amount. On the contrary, for areas in which industrialization is not improving as fast as the EU and North America, the sum of water consumption in industrial use is barely humble, takes up approximately one-tenth out of the whole.
On the other hand, in Africa, South America, Southeast, and Central Asia, most of the water is used for purpose of agricultural activities whereas solely three-tenths is used in the same sector in North America and Europe.
