The diagrams below give information about the manufacture of frozen fish pies. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram indicates how fish pies have been manufactured. The pie contains peas, sauce, salmon and microwavable packaging.
The initial impression from the diagram is that there are plenty of steps, which start with delivering ingredients and conclude with dispatching to the store.
The process commences with delivering potatoes to the factory within one month before going through the preparations. By this stage, potatoes must be cleaned, peeled, and sliced. After that, they are boiled in hot water and taken out to cool down, then the potatoes are stored to get ready for the next step.
At the same time, fresh salmon arrives at the factory within 12 hours then added some lemon juice and salt. Next, they go into the steam oven and remove the skins and bones. Once the salmon is inspected by the workers, they continue to be added prepared peas and sauce. Following this, all the potatoes, fish, peas and sauce are wrapped in microwavable containers then they are brought to the freezer. Finally, the fish pie boxes are sent to the store.
