First of all, in 1981, one person per household in the UK was about 23% then it increased a bit by 3% in 2001. Secondly, 2 people in the same household had 31% in 1981 before rising up to 34% in 20 years later. Thirdly, the figure for 4 people per household in 1981 took to 12% and this figure growth a little by 3% in 2001.
On the other hand, the percentage of 3 people per household reduced by 3% in 2001. While the proportion of 5 people per household witnessed a huge change, which fall sharply to 6% in the same year. Finally, the number of 6 people in the same house was the lowest percentage to 6% in 1981 but this number still decreased dramatically to 2% in 2001.
