The diagrams illustrate the phases and materials used for the production of cement, and the way in which cement is used to create concrete for construction purpose. There are two diagrams, the first represents cement production and the other shows how cement is used to produce concrete.
Overall, it can be seen that for production of cement, limestone and clay powder goes through several processes. Once this processes is done. The creation of concrete production starts in which cement, water, sand, and gravels are crucial materials for production of concrete.
In the first diagram, limestone and clay both these materials are crushed together to form a powder. Then, the powder passes through a mixer into the rotating heater, where the powder is heated at a high temperature. Additionally, at the end of the rotating heater there is an opening from where the powder is released out into the grinder. The fine ground powder is then packed into bags and ready for sale.
In the second diagram, for manufacturing of concrete, gravels and sand plays important role in this process. Moreover, sand and gravels constitutes at 50% and 25% respectively. Only 15% cement and 10% water is needed for concrete making. All these products are then put into a concrete mixer to form a concrete mixture.
