The maps give information on the forthcoming transformation of a small town called Islip. Overall, there are many striking changes between the contemporary status of this town center and its planned development as new facilities will be installed.
Looking at the plans for development, we can see that a one-way road will be expanded and turned into a dual carriageway surrounding the whole center as well as passing through the countryside. Shops located to the north of the Main Road will be dismantled and taken place by some new facilities including bus station, shopping center, car park and a new area of housing. People can reach the row of shop stores on the opposite side via the way for pedestrians only.
Moreover, behind those shop stores, one of the old housings will be moved leftward, making space for a new one built next to the Park. Lastly, the park, the school will be remained unchanged from what they are right now.
