The bar chart shows the number of students at the university who chose subjects in 2005. In general, there are differences between male and female when it comes to choosing subjects. The subject that is most popular among female is Social Sciences, accounting for nearly 25 (thousands students), for this subject, male are only lower than 10 thousands of students, accounting for about 15 (thousands students). Sciences more than 20 (thousands students) of male chose highest , which female only account for a little more than 10 (thousands students). In particular , the subject that female choose to study the lowest is Mathematics accounting for less than 5 (thousand students ), while male choose this subject second to nearly 20 (thousands students) . Almost all male don't like Languages, accounting for nearly 3 (thousands students), but female like to study this subject, ranking second with more than 15 thousands. Both male and female chose Humanities equally with more than 10 thousands . Remaining , the subjects : The Arts , Literature , Law also have the same disparity between male and female , the number of male choosing Literature and Law subjects is thousands higher than female, whereas The Arts are chosen by more female than male. In summary , the distribution of subjects among men and women isn't equal.
