The line chart provides data on expenditure of bought books over the internet from 1997 to 2002 in UK. While, the pie chart depicts information about money spent for purchasing books by four English states, named Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland. Overall, it can be seen that, habits for online books buying have increased over the period. In addition, the highest books purchased was in England.
To begin, regarding online expenditure on books in 1997, stood at just over ten million. After a year, it experienced an increase of five million approximately. For the next three years, much more money have been spent, 19, 22, 24 million respectively. In 2002, it was the highest rise, accounted to about 25 million.
Regarding the regions of books sales, England was the most interesting in books, for about four-fifths of the total books sales. However, Northern Ireland had a dramatic fall in books purchasing for 1%. Additionally, in Wales, online books bought was one-tenth, while Scotland has accounted to 8%.
