The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
The two maps illustrate some changes that took place in how people traveled to a city hospital from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, the main differences were the appearance of new facilities and the development of the public transportation system. Besides, there was something that never changed.
It can be clearly seen that two new roundabouts were constructed, the first one was sited at the intersection of Hospital Road and City Road, while the second one was built at the three-way crossroad of Ring Road and Hospital Road. To the east of the Hospital Road, a car park built for staff and public in 2007 was transformed into the staff car park only in 2010. Another change that occurred was the establishment of a bus station to the west of the Hospital Road, which replaced three bus stops on each side of this road.
Apart from having a new roundabout at the junction with Hospital Road, Ring Road witnessed a construction of a public car park in the east that provided parking spaces for the public.
